66 GMC V8 frame mounts??
I'm installing a small block in place of a 6cyl. What do I need for frame mounts? Thanks in advance.

Re: 66 GMC V8 frame mounts??
I posted before I realized you had a GMC. If it had an inline engine, just use the existing frame brackets. If it had a V-6, you might want to take one out so you can compare it with a Chevy bracket. The Chevy brackets are easy to find if you need them.

As Ray said, the V8 motor mount brackets are the same as the I6 brackets. If you had the GMC V6 then you will need to change the brackets. I have several sets if you need a pair.
