GMC push truck HOT ROD TV

I was watching episodes of HOT ROD TV on hulu tonight. I'm a huge Bonneville Salt Flats fan and ran across an episode I some how missed. It was featuring the Bonneville streamliner sponsored by Royal Purple. Super cool ride, Ive seen it run many times.

I had forgotten they sometimes use a GMC push/trailer truck. I don't know how to tell the years on the GMC's unless its a 72. Not a ton of coverage with the truck in it, but there is one scene where they have a camera inside the cab. That poor truck is rusting out all along the roof, I wonder if being out on the salt a bunch has anything to do with it?

You should check out the episode if you have a little free time. Decent coverage of the salt and a chance to see one of our trucks working (or maybe its having fun?).
