A good start?
This is my first post, but I've been lurking for a while. Really want to get a classic Chevy truck but I want something orginal in decent shape, needs to be a daily driver.
Came across this today, http://desmoines.craigslist.org/cto/1805907666.html, called the guy and I'm leaving shortly to look at it. Almost sounds too good! Anyways, does this look like a good start at a good price to you guys? |

Re: A good start?
Looks like a good deal depending on rust. I'd try to talk him down some.

Re: A good start?
Price looks pretty good for this part of the country.
Drive it and don't be afraid to crawl under it and look for rust. After driving it and looking over the engine, engine compartment and the rust you could offer something less, maybe $1200. I almost forgot, look for rust above the windshield inside and out, this is a hard place to repair. Good luck.
