2004 sierra tie rod ends
Anyone ever replaced 2004 tie rod ends both (inner and outer)? Is it better left to the dealer or should someone with weekend skills be able to pull this off???

Re: 2004 sierra tie rod ends
2WD HAS A RANK AND PINON which are harder to the fact you have to take the boots off the rack and have a special tool for it. the 4wd are right there on the outside where you can get to them it a big wrench it calls for .5 a side on the 4wd and 1.0 hour per side for 2wd

Re: 2004 sierra tie rod ends
I have been reading up on it. Is it possible to damage the rack when removing the tie rod? What tool should I ask for at the parts store?
