Re: Air Ride Question

Kind of a generic question Justin ...

Who's kit are you looking to utilize.

What is included in the kit?

With just the bags you can only drop so low. With the spindles added it's more. You will, however, find a limit that you can drop before the center frame hits the ground. Tire size will also dictate limits.

Come on .... let us know what your up to.

Re: Air Ride Question

I'd contact him direct then .... his truck, IMO, is one of the best lookers here on the board.

I believe he covered all the mods in a build thread.

As for the ridetech stuff - first class. BUT .... if you just want it down in the back try a flip kit with a notch. New rear shocks too.

Re: Air Ride Question

Justin- Since my truck already had a Ride Tech (Air Ride Technologies) system on it, I didn't buy that exact kit. I upgraded an Air over Leaf (AoL) system to what you have posted.

That kit will do everything you need, but it does not include spindles. If money allows I recommend two upgrades. I would go with the 3/8" Big Red valves. The standard 1/4 valves are great, but the 3/8" give you a much faster rise time.

If you can't spring for that, another item you will appreciate is the tank and compressor upgrade. Once again there is nothing wrong with the single compressor and 3 gallon tank, but having two 3 gallons or one 5 gallon will give you a complete fill from dropped to lifted in one hit.

BTW- The indepth version of the install article is posted below in my sig.
