Brothers and sisters in uniform
Just wanted to say happy 4th of July and thanks to my brothers and sisters out there not able to spend this holliday at home or with there family and friends. Stay safe and hope to see you home soon.
To everyone else out there wether or not you belive in whats going on in the world today you need to support the troops and their families. Remember on this 4th of July while you enjoy it with family and friends that there are literally thousands of soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen far from home wishing they could be with their families. When you see a veteran, regardless of the rank they held while they served. Pay them the highest amout of respect. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull them aside and explain how these veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrifices they have made to make this Nation great, and always remember: 1. Its the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom ot the press. 2. Its the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. 3. Its the Veteran, not the community organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. And last. Its the Veterans who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gave you the freedom to choose and practice your religion.

Re: Brothers and sisters in uniform
Yes. What a blessing they are to this country. What sacrifices they have made, some of us will never know. But on the 4th (and every other day, too), let us keep those heroes in our prayers. God Bless, all.

Re: Brothers and sisters in uniform
I totally agree with all the posts above.
I am a Vietnam Era Veteran so I can relate to what our men and women serving in the military are going through and will go through when they leave the military. My God Bless and watch over our men and women serving in the military.
