No E-brake. I guess the truck is not driven enough to need it.

68 short step uses that type of trans cooler all the time.

build for half, have to clarify

I posted that I could build two trucks for the price. YES i can build and have built trucks that nice for half the price. That is material only NOT my time. Yup, I can build a truck that nice for 22K, YUP done it, twice. Not to that exact spec but equally as nice. Gents, its only parts if you can do the labor, paint and body. 22k buys a donor truck and LOTS of parts. Nevermind a year or so of building. had to clarify

I thought it looked familiar. Cool.

Absolutely stunning truck. I could never own it. I would get it dirty.

What the big deal about the E-brake? I've never used one on any of my auto cars...

Re: ahhh.. purdy! not mine

Very nice but does anyone notice how close it is to the buy it now without hitting reserve....DEAD giveaway that their friends are bidding it up to the reserve so they can start it at .01 and get it up to the buy it now without paying more to start the listing at a "reserve" price....don't know why people do that. If they wanted to, they should put the buy it now at 50K and at least make it look legitimate

Oh, and yes...if you built this yourself and shopped for deals...you could build a truck like this for 15-20K...but NO Way could you pay someone to do the labor and buy the parts at retail and spend under 60K for it....

wow, the seller went and proved my point....he LOWERED the reserve when it was already at 41,350 vs 42500 buy it now.... funny....

I've notice a few times that a vehicle is on there for a days and there are 12 bids and never another bid for 7 days. I always wondered if they had friends bringing the bid up.

Re: ahhh.. purdy! not mine

Certainly is a very nice looking restoration, or at least the photographer is really good.

Though, with all of our trained eye's we can all find a flaw. Easy to do when you are in the hobby/profession, but to the average person who admires something like this from afar they are blissfully ignorant and happy to spend money.

On to my real pet peeve...
This whole evil bay game just proves even more to me that people have just abused and perverted a once useful online marketplace, and really in my opinion if you are having to try and hawk your high end goods on such a place - is it really that high end in the first place...

Re: ahhh.. purdy! not mine

cst, wood bed, buddy buckets, tach, ac........yes please!!!

one very nice truck,, but keeping that truck looking so pristine and mint would be IMPOSSIBLE if you ever wanted to drive and enjoy the truck at all. But to each his own,, some guys just don't drive their toys and some do....Im not the type to watch a car/truck just sit, half the fun of owning one of these classics is the driving experience, the places, and the enthusiast you meet along the way.

btw,, the truck is simply amazing!!!!!!

This is the highest quality frameoff restoration rottissorrie build you will find anywhere.
except for the loose wires hanging out from under the dash & it not having a functioning e-brake.

what a bargain.

Sorry, wasn't trying to bash....just pointing out that the seller is violating ebay policies by the nature of their listing

MY VERY FIRST THOUGHT WAS "SOMETHING SMELLS LIKE TUNA". THATS AN AWFUL LOT OF MONEY IN A GOOD ECONOMY. I JUST BOUGHT A TRUCK FOR LESS THAN 50% OF WHAT AN IDENTICAL VEHICAL BROUGHT TWO YEARS AGO. WHEN TIMES ARE TOUGH.. OLD TRUCKS GO WAAAY DOWN ON THE PRIORITY LIST. BEUTIFUL TRUCK THOUGH. JOHN
