slight change to the crew cab

To some it may be familiar, it used to be brown.

Full air suspension, Air bar, narrowed tubular arms, 18" Coddingtons, 355 TPI, Escalade interior, everything new except for a handfull of parts.

Here is a couple pics from today. First time out of the garage with all the body on it. I noticed the trim looks a little weird on the side shot, I dont think I let all the air out of the rear passenger side bag.

This will be the first and last 73 and Up Im going to ever do, I have never worked with thinner metal ever before this. I think Im going to stick to 67 72.

I hope this thing is going to pull my 5th wheel, or I will be some pissed; lots of grief from this one.

Nice truck. Personally I liked it better before. Also I see alot of negativity in your post at the end.

Thanks for all the comments. Had a tough run on this one, as I think I built a monster.

Good thing this took all of my shop space and I did not have enough room to take a kick at the walls.

Thin metal? Work on a newer truck and your opinion will change.

Looks good though! What did it look like before?

This was its previous life. Only the cab, box floor, and frame rails and a handfull of other original parts remain,

Re: slight change to the crew cab

Looks good Darren, is that as low as it will go? I assume you kept the inner fenders and left the bed floor stock?

Oh and this is what the truck looked like originally

Re: slight change to the crew cab

OK yeah, it looks better than ever. Stance, wheels, color, trim, it all looks great!

Also, is that a fiberglass Harwood? If so, what did you do to let the wipers clear during open/close?

Re: slight change to the crew cab

Looks awesome! I like the new paint, but i think the brown, paired with the new hood would look even better. just my oppinion though. Still a really great looking truck.
