Exclamation Custom GM Truck 12 bolt Covers

im in the market for a new 12 bolt cover just wanting to know whats out there.

Also what is the recommended diff fluid and how much to put in?

1972 GMC Custom 1500, 2WD LWB, 1970 chevy impala SS 350 c.i., shaved door handles, Ford Paint (portofino blue), blue underglow, and much more.

1998 GMC Sierra 1500 ext. cab, 2WD SWB, 305 c.i. all original 165,000 miles and still strong (daily driver)

e bay has a huge varity for sale, If you get a chrome one though, you might want to scuff the underside of the cover where the gasket seats to give better adhesion of the silicone and a better seal

ive found what i was looking for cover wise

Trans Dapt 4826. (pic below)

what is the recommended grade diff fluid? and how much do u put in?

it almost takes 2 quarts, not quite, just fill til it runs out of the filler plug

its valvoline 85-140

We sell them for $144.50 but they are special order for us. We don't stock them

We have the 1811 in stock for $144.00 it is a bit of overkill

Nice product.....

I would deffinatley spend a little more and get one with a fill and drain. Pain in the butt to remove the diff cover every time you change fluid.

Serious factory design flaw imho..

The TA_1811 is nice... but complete overkill unless you're drag racing. It has the reinforcement cast in for the bearing caps to put preload on them...

160 bucks for a cover is a lot... A decent chrome one or repaint the stock one works great.

That finned aluminum is cool... prolly a little spendy... but ;looks good.
