Loose tilt steering head/knuckle

Hey guys hope everyone had a great 4th!! Need some help with getting this part of my steering column out/off. I've reviewed the previous posts and looked at the chevytalk guys how to but it dosen't address my column. (keyless). I think I need to use the wheel puller and pull this section out to gain access to the loose bolts (one of which I can see through the tilt spring hole, is about to fall out) but I'm unsure if I need to remove the funky nut on the column or if it will pull over it. If I need to remove the nut 1st what do you use as it has several facets on it unlike a regular nut. Thanks in advance, Hutch

Re: Loose tilt steering head/knuckle

Thanks Rich. Mine is a keyless column. I finally figured out I had to pull the metal housing off to get to the hinge pins. Ended up using the bolts from a deadbolt for the hinge pin removal. Thanks have a great one, Hutch
