"Some surface rust and typical rust for this bodystyle" this is what scares me. That is purely someones opinion, or they could just telling you what you want to here. Until you crawl under it and pull the carpet back etc you will not know how bad it is. THEN after you look over it with a fine toothed comb, go ahead and add about 30% more rust on the inside that you can't see without opening things up. Maybe this truck isn't that bad, but its one of the biggest things you need to look for.

Yeah, I suspected the "some surface rust" part would be a stretch. Think I could part the truck out for a profit if I got it for 1k?

I wish it were closer to me! I would have to borrow my dad's driveway until I made room in mine but it would be HOME, LOL.
