1971 GMC Sierra Grande 4x4 vs. 1972 GMC Sierra Grande 4x4 vs. 1972 Cheyenne Super 4x4

Does anyone know the differences between these three models?

Does a 1971 GMC Sierra Grande 4x4 have more options than a 1972 GMC Sierra Grande 4x4? Does a 1972 Cheyenne Super 4x4 top them all? What is the going price on a daily driver in any of these three models? I am really thinking about buying one of these models after some research. Any advice will be extremely helpful.

Really no difference at all. I have seen more options on custom deluxe trucks than on supers or grandes before. All depends on how it was ordered. Basically the super and grande option was an appearance package.

Yeah, not so much what it says on the side of the truck but what it says on the sticker in the glove-box. The cheyenne or grande is a a great place to start but it comes down to what options were actually installed.

Personally, I don't think one is more valuable than another, but watching people sell their trucks says it all. Cheyenne Super's will bring more money than Sierra Grande's. Most people want a Chevy and not a GMC, much like the Blazer guys picking Blazers over Jimmy's. Good luck in the hunt. Trevor
