Owls Head Maine Truck and Vintage Aircraft Show

I bought a lift and tail gate last winter off Craig's list from a guy in Camden Maine knowing that I would have to pick them up 700 miles away. Having never been to Maine, I thought this was the perfect excuse to take a Maine vacation. Hooked up the Toy Hauler to the Ram, loaded up the Harley and off we went. Long story short, When I picked up the gates, the guy asked if I was going to the Truck and Aircraft show at the Owls Head Transportation Museum on the weekend. I did. Great show with lots of makes. The largest showing of big truck restorations I have ever seen. There were a few 67-72's. As I was leaving, Cape 86 pulled in with his Burb so I met a Board Member. He was showing his rig and I took a couple of photos but somehow lost them off the digital camera. Here are a few:

That one is a 71 with a nasty 468 inch Ram Jet injected motor. Very nicely done. The guy also owned the yellow chopped truck and the stock square body 77 4X4

Re: Owls Head Maine Truck and Vintage Aircraft Show

My wife and I were in Rockland Maine a few years ago visiting relatives and we happened to catch an aircraft and car show at the Owls Head museum. It's a great place! We got to ride in a Model T that day too! Thanks for the pics....
