New guy from MI
Hello everybody. I just found this site last week and have already used it for several problems I was having with my truck. Speaking of, I have a 72 short bed with a mild 454. I also have a 64 short bed step side that has been apart for many years begging to be rebuilt.
Anyways, its nice that there is a site like this for people who love these old pickups. |

Nice ride! Is it originally from the rust belt, or is it a newby to the area? What part of MI are you in? Don't see a ton of people from this far north...

Re: New guy from MI
It was purchased, by my dads friend, in Arkansas in 85. My dad painted it that year for his friend. The poor thing sat in storage for almost 20 years. I purchased it from him in 2005 and had it in and out of storage since.
I live in the Flint area. You're right, we don't see too many old trucks around here. Being in the true motor city, Flint, everyone wants an old muscle car and forgets about these old gems. |

Well being on the other side of the state, most likely won't bump into each other, but enjoy that ride, look forward to having mine done to "cruise" 4x4 style
