1969 4x4 short bed project
I'M STARTING A NEW PROJECT
JUST BOUGHT A 1969 CHEVY SHORT BED STEP SIDE FACTORY AIR FACTORY 4X4 BODY COMING OFF THIS WEEKEND GOING TO DO THE FRAME THEN PUTTING BODY BACK ON THEN GOING TO DRIVE IT FOR AWHILE SO I DONT HAVE TO BE SCARED OF SCRATCHING IT LOL I'M KEEPING THE BUMPERS ON BECAUSE WHO EVER MADE THEM TOOK A LOT OF TIME AND CARE THEY ARE HEAVY DUTY AND NICE LOOKING Last edited by RandyL1966; 07-30-2010 at 10:35 PM. |

That's very nice - you've got the right plan, do the frame, put it back together and enjoy it!

Nice score. Frame off takes more time but will be well worth it when complete. Looking forward to seeing it come together.

Thanks guy's will do i'll keep posting pics as i go
i'm starting tomorrow it has a fresh 327 4 barrel 400 automatic trans (i think) lol headers and flowmasters so that part is done and brand new rims and tires 33 wooo hoooo someone else spent all thats money i'm not telling you want i paid for it i don't want anyone getting sick or passing out or hyperventilating lol i will be spending around ten grand to make it perfect when i'm done playing and i do like suggestions and positive comments |

The cab is shot someone has spliced to cabs together across the floor bad job the bed is really good shape and front end

Funny thing, today i checked your project out and the pics show up and yesterday there were none. My compture still working out the bugs as i just got the harddrive replaced. I feel like a idiot for asking you to post pics when clearliy you already did.
The frame is in amazing shape, at least you don't have to use too much elbow grease to make it look pretty. Did you have a gas filler door on driver's side rear fender? |
