Local Hot Summer Nights Cruise In
Attendance for the show was down due to the threat of rain... Managed to meet a guy with a 71 GMC Survivor... 80,000 miles was his fathers truck... Pretty neat.

Re: Local Hot Summer Nights Cruise In
Hoss67: This turnout wasn't as good as it should have been. We had our big summer car show a few weeks ago and a tornado rolled through right in the middle of the cruise... a lot of guys with nice cars that had never seen rain got stuck in the middle of it... There were hurricane strength wind gusts and pea sized hail... so I think a lot of people were gun shy about bring their cars out when it had been overcast all day...
Bigguy69: My town is full of guys who build the nice cars and then leave them in the garages... I know rain won't hurt my truck that why I was there... :-) I even rode out the Tornado/Thunderstorm that rolled through during the other car show in my truck...
