Re: What is your dream square??

I'm getting close to my dream truck. Any year crew, but mine is an 89. For now it's gonna have a tall deck 427 w/TBI, 400 auto till I get the parts for the NV4500, div 205, HP60, van 14ff, about 8" overall lift, 40" TSLs, cowl hood, visor, cutout flares, tonnue cover. In the end it will have a 12v Cummins, P-pumped, like to have around 350-400 horse, that is my dream truck.

Crappy cell phone pic....

I would trade it for a good running TBI 454. This motor was in a 94, is TBI, but needs a special flywheel/flexplate, need to change the harmonic balancer, and weld an adapter for the water pump to intake fitting. Stock is 3/4", it has 1 1/2" or something now.

None of which is a big deal, but will all the work I'm doing, dropping a TBI or even carbed 454 would be really nice and less of a headache.

I agree. There are a few on here that I dream about all the time.

Would really like to have a 73-80 stock in appearance, with just a few upgrades in powertrain, and suspension.

Anyway...My drram truck is a crew cab short bed. With a 5.7 LS engine/ 4l80E trans. Airbagged over 20/22in boyd or foose true directional wheels. My all time favorite paint scheme was the emerald green over white truck that Hills did a few years back.

Re: What is your dream square??

My dream truck would probably be an 87 GMC Sierra Classic 3500, 6-8" of lift, 35" tires, just the right wheels, and an EFI 572 big block, T56 & NP205.

Re: What is your dream square??

It's a tough one. Either a 73-80 short bed 2wd, lowered and clean, with a 454 and 4 speed (LiveAnimals has my dream 2wd-minus the 4 speed!!!!), or a 88-91 CCSB 4x4, with a twin turbo 24v/AT, 6" of lift, winch bumpers, M/T's, and everything modern on the inside(leather, audio, etc.)

Re: What is your dream square??

My 73 is getting close to what I had envisioned for my dream 73-87

If I could have another, a mildly customized 80 Indy Hauler would be right up there.

Re: What is your dream square??

My life long dream was to have a blown and injected engine. Didn't matter whether it was a small or big block or what it was sitting in. 3 years ago I could finally make my dream a reality after a long 35 year wait. Even tho I would prefer to have it in something smaller and lighter, I wouldn't get rid of my truck for the world.

Re: What is your dream square??

73/74 LWB 350/350 all stock Cheyenne Super 10, with factory race track moldings. Preferably yellow and white.

I'd settle for the 73 that bigblock73 has though

Nice call on the twin spins. Those are my favorite wheels, I love old school billets. Budnik arrowheads and scissors are up there too though, lol.
