Does any one know the torque spec for a Lower Control Arm nuts on each side of the shaft? I had bought new lower arms and I have no clue what to torque them at. thanks-mike

Re: Lower control arm nut
I did a search and came up with this.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...t=a-arm+torque I know for 67-68 in the service manual, the shaft bushing bolts are for the upper new is 160ft.lb, replacement 95ft. Lb. And lower is new 280ft. Lb, replacement 135ft. Lb. But YOU actually answered this thread.^^^ (5-6-2009) Is this info not correct?

Re: Lower control arm nut
Im questioning it cause my front suspension has no flex. i can jump on the front end and no bounce and even when I jack the front up on the lower a arm it wont flex up and down. I think its the torque spec.
