Re: decode me please.....
Marino, First off welcome to the board. Your vin decodes as;
C= chevy (72 only) C=2wd S= 6cyl 1= 1/2 ton 4= pickup 2= 1972 S= st. louis assy plant 1= is a place marker 25406= 25406th truck produced /production number Your model number decodes as; C=2wd S=6cyl 1= 1/2 ton 09= cowl to axel 54" to 59" (longbed or lwb) 34= cab and fleetside box Here is a link if you want to see for yourself http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?Page=10 As for the molding code you have 18x210, that's probably 1bx210 or bx2= body side molding wide LWR. But I'm not sure what it looks like. Rpo codes are 3 digits but some spids have 6 or 7 digits. Here is a link for RPO codes http://outintheshop.com/options.html On the paint 15422C is 542= 510 med. blue and 521 white here is a link for that, Check both pages 1 and 2 http://www.tcpglobal.com/autocolorli...truck-pg01.jpg As for the rear end ratio if it's not on the spid or build sheet then jack up the rear end and spin the tire one turn, as your doing that count how many times the dirveshaft goes around and that will get you close if not right on. Sorry I can't be more help on the moldings, but try lmc catolog pg 38 to 40 http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/t.aspx?Page=39 may be some info there. Nice looking truck you got BTW,

Re: decode me please.....
inline 6 and a 3 speed would mean 3.73 gears unless otherwise optioned. If its not on the SPID (the option sheet you got all your info off of) then it has no optional gear.
