Manual 4 speed tranny
Have a 1971 4x4 swb truck 4 speed. Does anyone know for sure if they had a neutral safety switch? 2 switches on top of tranny after taking off floor cover on top of tranny one 2 prong and one is one prong, cant find a new one prong no ones seems to know what is is? anyone have any Ideas? or where I get one?

the 2 prong is your reverse lights.

There is no neutral safety. You can start the truck in gear with the clutch out if you want to. The second switch on the tranny is a high gear indicator that was used with the Transmission Controlled Spark (TCS) system which was an emissions control system that has been disconnected on pretty much every truck out there.
