Complete Big Block/TH400 setup....

Getting ready to do an LS swap and will not be needing this setup any longer.

Previous owner said the motor was a 396 but the numbers on the block show it to be a 454. Motor runs very smooth and trans shifts smooth as well. Will come with everything, ie....from carb to oil pan, alternator, power steering pump, brackets, distributor, fuel pump, everything. All would be needed is to bolt it in, and turn the key. Just put in a new gasket and filter in the trans as well. Would like $850 as a complete setup but will entertain reasonable offers. Not looking to separate at the moment, as I would like everything to leave at the same time. I will get pictures posted later this afternoon.

Do you know what year the motor is or what it is out of originally? I am thinking turbo 400 tranny, is that correct?

Re: Complete Big Block/TH400 setup....

Not looking for any trades unless they are LS specific.

Numbers on the block show it to be a 454 from 71-79, dont know what it was originally in. Yes it is a turbo 400.

Re: Complete Big Block/TH400 setup....

I thought this would have sold within 10 minutes of posting. I think this is a steal for a good running 454 with turbo 400. Turnkey engine...WOW. If I were closer I would buy just to have for the next project.

Re: Complete Big Block/TH400 setup....

Put me in line if you're willing to ship. All you would have to do is secure it to a pallet and supply me with a zip code for pickup and I would handle the rest. Let me know.
Thanks.
