How Low for the long beds?
I would like to do a 5.5" and 7" drop on my 71 long bed. Would i need to notch the frame for that? Ide like the 20" wheels since its only a weekend toy. plus having 20" Wheels with low pro's will keep me from burnin rubber to much on the steet. thats what they make race tracks for.
hook me up with so quality lowering kits for the trucks. Thanks

Re: How Low for the long beds?
Mine is lowered 4.5 front and 5 rear. IIf you want to go any lowered in the front, you will need a dropmember. I have to be extremely careful on rough rough roads to avoid the stock front crossmember from hitting the ground. I am also running stock sized tires 235/75/15.

Re: How Low for the long beds?
Absolutely notched. Lowering springs and drop blocks may get you that low in the back. If you bag the front you will get a better ride and be able to have the look you are going for. You could run a 20X8.5 & 22X10 like my combo and not rub, but it's close.
