Intake Manifold
I'm putting a brand new stock 350 in my 72 K10. I'm using the stock Q-Jet carb. What intake manifold should I use? Money is no issue.
thanks, James

intake manifold
If you use the Q-jet you may need an adapter to fit an aftermarket manifold, or is that the other way around? I think a dual-plane manifold like a holley or edelbrock would probably suit your needs just fine. The dual plane is a good set-up for a stock engine, low and mid-range torque is what they seem to be designed for.

Get your self a Performer. No adapator would be needed. Plus thet are much better than stock.

The performer Air Gap or RPM Air Gap from Edelbrock seem to get the most attention in the magsazines.

I would run a Edel performer with a stock crate. Any of the rpm intakes are good pcs, but really need a little more cam & compression to work properly with the combo. good luck, crazyL

When i slapped that intake on a well worn stock engine there was a seat of the pants improvement...also longer black marks in front of the house.
