A/c
Hello everyone. i was wondering if it is possible to remove just the a/c but retain the heater portion of the stock setup. i am putting a 6.5 diesel in my truck and would like to mount my fuel filter on that side of the firewall. i wanna keep the heater in the truck because i know i wont have the vintage air kit before next summer, and would like to stay warm during winter lol.
also is there anything i need to keep off the truck for the vintage air kit to work??? thanks in advance !

Re: A/c
You will need the heater - Ac control panel, and the cables. Check with vintage Air. I think they are re doing there ac unit. It may not work with cables anymore. It might be a better unit. Lets us know.

Re: A/c
The "Truck Shop" in Orange, CA sells an A/C delete firewall cover just for this purpose I believe. It is Part# 67-053101 for $145. Their web site is www.TruckandCarShop.com.

Re: A/c
The ac delete firewall cover cost $ 145.00 . Why not just use what you have till you get the Vintage air unit.

I was about to do a 6.2 diesel swap in my truck, but am now doing a boring 350, as the 6.2 in my parts truck/driver became "unwell" (knocking).
