Looking for a truck

Hey all,

I'm leaving next Monday from Green Bay, WI and driving to Dallas, TX to look for a truck to buy and bring back. Does anyone have a lead on one that a friend might have, or that might be sitting along a road for sale somewhere? I'd like to find a rust free truck, and I'm looking to spend no more than $2500, but if the right deal comes along.......

I'm also looking for a car hauler to buy either down there or on the way. $1200 is my limit for the trailer (surge brakes preferred).

I haven't decided my route yet, so I'm pretty open to anything no matter where it's located on the way down.

Thanks everyone!

-Jeff Jost (67 LS1 SWB)

Anything in particular that you are looking for. I am in Amarillo TX and I know of 2 just down the block from me, one is a GMC LWB the other I am not positive about, havent looked at it closely. Let me know what you are interested in. There are many of our trucks around here. I bought my 67 with little rust for 1K running with perfect fenders.

I'm also looking for any good boneyards in Missouri, Arkansas, West Tennesee, or Northeast Texas that might have some good rust free body parts. Any ideas.
