seats
what is the best truck to get a bench seat out of to make it the easiest to bolt in my 68? Are the ones from the 73-87 or 88 up into the 90s better?

Re: seats
I just did 00 in my truck. I fretted about it for a few weeks and put it off I was worried about mounting location. after taking out carpet there are marks on the floor I used them for centering and started drilling, 30 mins later the seats were in after i get some metal to sturdy the rear mounts im going to do a how to style thread. Ive looked and noone has good pictures of positions and such because they all get going and dont take pictures.

Re: seats
I have a leather '98 Tahoe 2nd-row seat for my '69. There won't be any adjustment, fore/aft. As long as it is where I want it to be....no biggee.
But, I'd go for a 95-99, maybe newer. One of the truck rags did a feature on seats and it seems that the seats from the '99 and newer are still not too wide to work well on the '67-72's.

Re: seats
Easiest is to stick to 67-72. No modding anything. Popular later model seats are the ones in the silverados with the intergal seat belts but reinforcement of floor where you redrill for holes will be required. As with anything else depending on how much work or modding you want to do anything can work for you.
