Rear end code - what ratio?
Hi, I'm droppin' in from the 67-72 board.
Looking to change my 3.73 rear to a 3.07. Found a '78 Scottsdale10 V8/auto in the local junk yard. It's a leaf spring style so I know I'll have to adapt for that, but I am not having any luck decyphering the later axle codes. This ones KAS 08 W 82. All I need is the ratio, but didn't want to crawl under and pop the cover and count gear teeth. Thanks, Rick

Hollanders shows KAS as a non-locking 3.07.
