Speedo cable location problem
So when I bought my 77 C10 about a month ago the guy said " oh I took the speedo cable off and never got a chance to put it back on" I thought oh thats no big deal Ill just jump under there and put it back on. Well I bought a Dakota digital dash and it came with a new sending unit. Long story short I get up under there today and realize that the reason he "never got around to" putting the cable back is because he converted the truck to a floor shifter and you now cant attach the cable to the tranny. Can anyone help with this one? How can I get the speedo working. Has anyone else dealt with this in the past?
