My 71 does something odd?

When I turn my truck off. The A/C fan runs for a few seconds, blowing air out the vents, then clicks off. Is this normal?

Somehow, electrical power is not being shut off when the key is turned to the off position. Do any of the other electrical items (radio, for instance) stay on for the same length of time? If so, I'd be thinking ignition switch.

No. But the really strange part is, the fan is off. When I turn the ignition off the fan kicks on the kicks off a few seconds later. I am good at electrical so I will probably find it. Just seems strange to me.

Re: My 71 does something odd?

only reason i can think of is a sticking relay, and if that is the case it will
fail soon. find the relay and have some one else shut off the ignition while touching it. you should feel and/or hear it click when it disengages.
