what is the proper backspacing on a 10"
Hello all,
I was wondering what backspacing I would need on a 10" wide rim to fit properly. Going to be mounting 35x12.50x15 tires on summit 15" 164 rims.Truck is a 77 4wd with a 4" lift. I want to get the rim/tire package in a week or so but am nervous about gettin the wrong ones. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Do you want them to stick out a little or be flush with the fenders

flush with the fender, don't really want anything sticking out.
Also if anyone knows the proper backspacing for a 8"wide rim, that might be helpful too. |

Re: what is the proper backspacing on a 10"
Got 9.5 in rims on the back of mine with 4 in bs'ing & that is as much as Ican go witout rubbing , but mine is lowered . So Iwould recommend 3/3/4 or 4 in bs'ing for a 10 in rim for the rear > should be about flush with the lower fender well without sticking out. As for the front , with 10 in rims , would recommend 5 in bs'ing > should acheive the look you are looking for .
