Question Which underbed gas tank

Hello to all.
My name is Bobby and I am new to this form. Please excuse any mistakes.
I have a 1967 SWB stepside & doing a frame off restore and makeing a cool streetrod. I am looking to put a underbed gas tank in it. The one from Early Classic is nice but very pricey. Looking for options ???
Thanks for the help
Bobby

Re: Which underbed gas tank

I would steer clear of the blazer tanks, unless your a genious with plenty of time a filler is a real pita. (I have one and still working on filler lol, well, a GOOD filler design)

I like fuel cell guys tanks, havent hearrd anything about the fillers, but they look nice PLUS you support a board vender..

Edit, I just saw your new! Welcome this place is great

Re: Which underbed gas tank

Hi Bobby. I put a blazer tank in mine before deciding I wanted to use an in bed filler. I then had a tank made by my friend who owns Aero tanks here in California. He made me a 24 gallon tank that fits perfectly. If you're interested I'll get you his info.

Re: Which underbed gas tank

Thanks
Yes I would like to get his info.
I want to fill the tank from the bed and put a hidden hitch on it so
I can pull my 1968 GTO to all the car shows and show both car and truck.
Here is a picture of my truck before I tore it down to put the big block
454 Gen. V and 200R trans and posti 308 rear end.
Thanks
Bobby

Re: Which underbed gas tank

Contact Jake at Aero Tanks in san Bernardino, Ca.
Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30 AM - 4 PM (Pacific Standard Time) Closed Sat. & Sun.
379 S Sierra Way, Suite A
San Bernardino, CA 92408
(909) 388-0002

Jake did my tank and it's a perfect fit. What I can do is bring my truck over to him so that he uses the same measurements on yours. He did a really great job. Tell him that Art sent you because they don't specialise in custom tanks.
