when i go to crank my engine it will crank fast and then get really slow and then get really fast(normal speed). it will do it about 3 times and then it will only go slow like the battery is dead.

My 307 did that when my timing was too far advanced. I had to advance it because the vacuum advance was bad. Now I have an HEI and it starts alot easier.
