Change from power brakes to non-power?

Ok. I have a '69 with drums and power brakes and I would like to switch to non-power. I have my reasons.

Can I just get a new master, pull the booster and bracket, replace the brake rod (power has a pin on the end and I need the rounded end)?

I'm using the truck (striped sheet metal, cab and bed off the truck) for a hotrod/ratrod project. The booster is WAY to big.

Should work. Or just buy a smaller diameter booster.

Or find someone that wants to reverse the process, like that has a 69 Blazer with regular brakes and is in Bremerton too....
