Talking followed me home over the weekend

I had a 70 LWB 3/4 camper special follow me home. I have been away from these model trucks for a while now. I have a '58 swb fleetside and a '37 chevy truck I'm trying to get running for the spring but I couldn't pass this one up for a tow rig or driver. Everything works, had a busted brake line but it's fixed now. It's a V8 4sp truck with very few options, sticker has like 8 options on it. The split rims must go and it needs a face lift. P.O. was a little hard on it hauling stuff around. Geared right for towing the other truck around or anthing else I want to put behind it.

Re: followed me home over the weekend

It looks like it'll be great for a tow rig. Nice score.

Re: followed me home over the weekend

Looks good, lot nicer than the one that followed me home last weekend. Looks like a real workhorse. Looks like the first truck I ever drove,'cept that one was blue. LOL

Re: followed me home over the weekend

Let's just say I bought the motor cheep and he threw in the rest of the truck. I'm greatfull that everything works, but I wish it didn't have all the rust underneath. It's all fixable but can't seam to find the time to work on my '37 chevy, so this is just more stuff to get to. I have found matching doors and a matching hood for a good price. I will probably pic that stuff up in a couple of weeks. I also found a set of steel wheels for it. Now just need 4 original hubcaps.

Thanks for all the kind words. I loved this site. I haven't owned a truck of this generation for a while but keep tabs on a few on the board. Everyone here is great and you can seem to get any question awnsered rather quickly.
