Engine oil cooler lines What to do

my lines Did not Leak when i bought it home, i has been siting in a barn for the last 5 years, but they have been bent and have some kinks and have been welded before

i would like to change the lines and the oil cooler because its old and not looking to good any more

so i was thinking about cutting the pipes where the ends are with like 4 inches of pipe flare the end i cut like a brake line and replace the metal lines i cut out with hose insted and use some some good hose clamps and replace the oil cooler with this

So your cooler actually cools the engine oil, and not the transmission fluid? I will say that my experience has been the fewer connection you have the fewer leaks will occur.

Yes it an engine cooler mines is manual not auto
its a 6.2 diesel

I would take the lines to a hydraulic shop that makes hydraulic lines and have them make you new ones. Then you know they'll be right.
