Extra digit in the vin
Forgive me if this has been covered before.. I did a search and came up empty..
I have an extra digit in the beginning of my Truck VIN.. It begins with a CC instead of the C it should.. My only thinking was that it was a California VIN .. Anyone? J. |

Re: Extra digit in the vin
That is normal......That is if it is a 1972, then it is normal.

Re: Extra digit in the vin
In 1972, GM started running the vins with a "C" prefix on Chevy trucks and "T" for GMC [Truck] Division.
