plexiglass

can anybody tell me pros and cons of using mirror finished plexiglass under the hood of my truck? im planning for 1-8th inch so i can easly remove it afterwars. thanks for the help.ive seen this used at car shows;they really made the engine pop!

it scratches very easy so make sure how you mount it will be easy to change out later, and I am unsure that it will hold up to the engine heat very long, most of those show cars just drive from the trailer to the grass...not day to day traffic

thanks for the info. talking to the plastic people, i found out that if you take it off for the trip, you can keep it there for years. one guy had his for 5 years. thanks again.
