Small Block casting numbers got me going ?????

Rear casting #14010201/GM5.0LG that is supposed to be 305ci 1980-84

Front casting #V1203FDW now this is where I am confused, I can't locate the FDW suffix for this block in any documents. I only found the FD suffix and those state it is for 265ci, 283ci. Anyone got any info for this?

I don't know how accurate this page is, but it list the "FDW" suffix as an 1985 305, originally installed in a C10:

As I did in my initial post, I am trying to find the so called, rest of the story with the suffix stamps. The casting is usually a vague description of the blocks usage, since many blocks with the same casting were used for multiple applications; I believe you can narrow this down by searching the suffix stamp on the front of the block.

That is the site that did not have the stamping I needed, unless I missed it, but thanks anyway.
