Porterbuilt Gas-Adjust Hood Hinge for 67-72

Say good-bye to the old hood prop! We’ve finally buttoned up our gas-adjust hood hinge option for our popular 67-72 cowl mounted hood hinges. This upgrade is a must for all those currently running the PB hinges!

Re: Porterbuilt 67-72 Gas Adjust Hood Hinge Option

Looks good Nate! I noticed on my hinges that there was a hole that I hadn't seen before, I figured that's where the struts would hook up!

Nate,

does this design replace the one where the strut was in the cowl?

Yes. The other design, though trick it was, became far to complicated and thus expensive. I ran into a few snags that were going to make it extremely difficult to produce and sell at a "reasonable" cost.
