New Guys First Build - 68 LWB
I just bought a 68 Long box with a 292 inline and a manual 4 speed for 400 bucks and thought i would share it with you guys. I have been lurking around this site for years and finally got up the nerve to post. So here goes. All i need now is the money to get started.

Looks like a great start. You going to keep the straight six?

I plan on building the 6 and upgrading to a T-5 trans out of an 80's S-10. My machinist thinks we can get in the 300 horse range.

Sounds like a plan. You should set it up for turbo, I've been seeing a lot of these on eBay lately.
