My 49 starting to come together
Thought I'd share a picture with everyone to show my support of the brotherhood.
Still tons of things to do but gives an idea of where the project is going. I'm still waiting for my drop spindles which I bought from an EBay store and it will have been 1 month this weekend that I am waiting for them. |

Nice looking truck
Watch the time on the ebay stuff. Make sure you put a claim in before the time expires. Think its 45 days.

Re: My 49 starting to come together
That's gonna be sweet!
Sucks ordering parts from the states, did you get a tracking number? I'm a looong way from the border but I usually try to have a number of items shipped to a border town on the U.S. side and make a trip to pick it up every once in a while. Means I have to plan ahead some but it usually works out better.

Re: My 49 starting to come together
Good point on the time limit. I do not have a tracking # but the seller has a pretty good rating. I sent the seller an email just now so I will wait to see their response. Worse part is I could have bought a set here for the same price it is ending up costing me.

Re: My 49 starting to come together
Another thing to make sure with Ebay is to make all contact with the seller/buyer through Ebay messages. This way when/if you put a claim in they can see everything that has gone back and forth.
Project is looking good. |

Re: My 49 starting to come together
I was told there is no drop spindles for the stock axle. Where did you find them?

Re: My 49 starting to come together
for what stock axle? i know speedway motors sells drop axles for AD trucks.
i was joking asking if he needs drop spindles since its so low already as he said in his first post that hes waiting for his drop spindles.
