Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
I want a cleaner way to route my fuel line to my edelbrock carb on a sbc 350. I want metal line all the way WITH a filter, I want it to be clean with little (prefer no) rubber lines, anywhere, this is what I have now, it works but not very sexy lol
I want it to be clean, and prefer all metal lines thanks! now post your pictures and ideas! (maybe this will enocourage folks with 5' rubber lines to go metal too!

Re: Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
No pic but my in line filter is before the fuel pump, i think thats really important to keep dirt and other garbage out of the pump diaphram....
My steel line leaves straight out the side of the carb and bends down toward the manafold and valve cover junction, and then bends foward about 1/2' above the valley of the manafold and valve cover, at the front of the head it bends down at about a 45 degree angle outward and down and is bolted via clamp to the front head bolt, just past the bolt it again bends straight down toward the pump. i was cheap and just used a rubble hose to connect the line to the pump.. EDIT: Um..... Doesn't it get cold in Tennessee???

Re: Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
You should be running a regulator with that edelbrock.
I mounted a regulator on the passenger fender and routed my hard lines directly to the carb from the regulator. I dont have any pics and i dont run the edelbrock anymore. |

Re: Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
I dont have a pic of my set up on my Chevelle but it has a steel line from the fuel pump to an in-line filter and banjo set up on the carb. The banjo set-up and in line filter are Edelbrock parts bought at Summit Racing at the same time I bought the carb. The fuel line was a custom bent piece from the local auto parts store. This set up looks like GM put it there.

Re: Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
Slick67's line is a lot like mine. Ya know i cant remember if the edelbrock has a filter at the carb inlet on the 1406 or not, i thought it did tho but maybe i'm thinking the Quadrajet..

Re: Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
I ran braided fuel line to mine, but Im using a electric pump mounted on the frame, and not the mechanical pump on the block.
However, this guy does the absolute best custom plumbing I have ever seen. Amazing work, and attention to detail. Check out some of his projects and maybe get some ideas. Bent Custom and Performance Here are a few pictures I found on his website that apply more to your request: Last edited by colin_havens; 10-13-2010 at 10:30 AM. |
