Looking for part between pitman & knuckle
Hey, I've got a '68 closed knuckle front end. I'm in need to replace the rod that goes from the pitman arm (off of the steering box) to the driverside knuckle.
Do any of you know what it's called? Better yet, know where to get one? on the 70 & laters, they call it a drag link I think, but I can't find anything for the 67/68 front end. THX

Re: Looking for part between pitman & knuckle
dust boot is loose on the one end... but the joints seem ok...
I just hit the castle nut with some PB blaster... let's see if it comes off in a few days.

Re: Looking for part between pitman & knuckle
It's called a drag link.Boots are available separately if you need one for a rod end.

Re: Looking for part between pitman & knuckle
anyone know if the 70 & newer style would work, if a longer center/adjuster section was made?

Re: Looking for part between pitman & knuckle
The whole set-up changed in '70.Even then, the first couple years used a solid drag link. But,the later adjustable ones interchange.
