Re: Po
Glad I'm not the only one, Larry. Sure can lead to an awkward moment sometimes...

Re: Po
Things like "PO" are identified somewhere on this site, but I can't remember where. When all else fails, I go to www.urbandictionary.com It seems to
have most of the stuff I need translated. |

Re: Po
Here's a quick tip on saving yourself that awkward moment.Taught to me by my wife(old what's her name). When you run into someone you know but can't remember their name, you introduce your wife, companion or whoever. When you do this is their que to ask "and you are"whereby your other problem causes you to not be able to hear the answer to the question someone else asked.Or if you get lucky, you actually hear their name and avoid embarassment.

Re: Po
Here is one that I suffer from, I am sure some of you may also. I find myself in a room, garage or outside trying to figure why I went there.
I worked for the Federal Government for many, many years in different shops and codes and I found one of the hardest things to learn was what something was called in there shortened terms. I am slowly catching on to things like PO and such on here, but at times it takes a while for the light to come on so to speak. Now I am really lost when it comes to the new texting stuff and will not even try to learn it since I never text.

Re: Po
PO, not to be confused with OP, which is the "Original Poster"...as in the person who started this thread.
