Any GM Tech here wiper problem.
Ok quick run down I know pulse boards on a 99 GMC Sonoma! Problem is when I cut my wipers off they will keep working up to 5 mins and sometimes if on low they will start wiping faster!!! I can cut key off and back on then they will stop or I can keep messing with switch and get the wipers to stop after messing with it etc. So what do you think wiper switch?Wipers never come on at radom just mess up when there on or trying to cut off. Any actual way to test it? Thanks Brandon

sounds like the switch to me. I am sure there is a way to hook a meter to it but could not begin to describe how. I would have to be there.

There is a way to test, but you will need alldata or some sort of repair information to find the correct terminals to check. Like you said, the circuit boards are an issue with those trucks and it will cause that problem. Im trying to pull up the info right now for you, but our gm service info is down at the moment.

Another thing to try is to get some electronics cleaner and spray some in the wiper switch and work it in. Also, if you can get it to act up, tap on the wiper module with a screwdriver end. Usually if the module is bad, tapping on it will make it do something different.
