Do I need to splice into my fuel guage wire ?

I have installed a rear tank with the sending unit in it and all grouded and a wire running through the firewall to under the dash .

I have a harness that carries the wires form the fuel guage to the fuse block . Not sure what wire is the fuel guage wire.

I see there is a fuel guage plugin the fuse block but not sure what it is for .

My question is this: What do I need to do to complete the hook up .

thx as always if you can get me going on this ..

The fuel tank sending unit wire should plug in the fuse panel. The rest are internally in the loom and printed circuit.

Re: Do I need to splice into my fuel guage wire ?

i would seem to think hooking it up to the fusebox in the fuel gauge slot would be the right since it worked on the factory tank and will carry it to the gauge anyways ya know

Re: Do I need to splice into my fuel guage wire ?

Whats wrong with moving the origional wire out of the cab and extending it to the new sending unit??? Or is this in addition for more capacity??

Just a thought and what i had in mind but i didn't recive a harness.
