1969 GMC truck tires/rims ideas ????
Well ,,I would like to lower the front maybe 3 inches or so,,,,and change the tires and rims, Right now I have 15x5.5
I would like to put wide trires on the back and smaller on front Maybe a low profile 265/60,,ss,,,front,,,,225 /215/60 ss front not sure if will keep the 15s ot go to a 16 or 17 any ideas?? any pictures to help? ty any one know any newer gmc truck aplication that would fit the 69? I posted a picture ffrom the front rims,,,as you can see ,,, I a have a spindle sticking out I think I ll be limited on the rims choice ty Last edited by drsergio; 10-24-2010 at 10:57 AM. Here's what I've had on my '69 6-lug truck over the past two years:
15x8's on all 4-corners 15x7 (f) and 15x8 (r) - yes they made a 15x7 6-lug ralley 20x8.5 and 20x10

 The 7/8's are currently on my FILs '69 and will eventually end up back in storage.
