Ochre paint code
So, I have decided that I want to paint my 72 K10 Ochre (Yellow?). Can someone let me know what the paint code is for that? I have never had paint mixed from one of these old GM paint codes, will I have any problems when I go to the paint shop? Also, if you have any pictures of stock coloured Ochre trucks please post. Thanks

Re: Ochre paint code
The commercial color is 511 for the 72 year paint Ochre code
On the page of codes and colors it says ::Actual colors may vary from the color on your screen due to monitor color restrictions..Can you believe it can be that off..LOL

Re: Ochre paint code
Have the paint store mix you a sample, half pint or so and do a spray out test and clear it.

Re: Ochre paint code
Good idea. Brings me to a new thought, I was thinking of just spraying this truck with single stage paint instead of base and clear, since this colour doesnt have metalic in it shoulnd it turn out the same?
