Re: New wheels by centerline
I have always liked the Torque Thrust type wheels, and these are sweet looking.

Re: New wheels by centerline
Their logo on the spoke sucks.Just enough to keep me buying the wheels they are copying.I've always loved this style.
Edit:I just checked the link and they don't even offer 15s or 16s?

Theres a good reason they don't offer 15's or 16's. They would not sell enough to offset production costs. Yes, I know some buyers still prefer the smaller sizes, but not enough to justify the additional cost to produce.

Re: New wheels by centerline
IMO they dont look quite as good as others available and they are asking as much or more as some other "better" looking wheels of the same style.

Re: New wheels by centerline
x3 on the logo. There was some kind of 15" tire revolution in the last 5 years, too. The prices have gone stupid. Who knew a 215/70R15 Radial T/A would have gone up to $100?

Re: New wheels by centerline
Jon I know I sound like a pro 20" advocate preaching bigger tires/wheels all the time. Yes it's true that I like the looks of larger wheels, but in my defense you have discovered what I have been saying all along.
The cost of 15", 16," and even 17" tires has continued to increase dramatically in the past few years. I recently bought a set of 17" tires for one of my company trucks. I paid more for those tires than I did for my last set of 22's.This is purely based on demand and production costs. With "most" of the manufacturers going to 17"'s 18's, 20's and 22's as OEM sizes, the tire companies are dropping production of the smaller size tire. My supplier tells me that it will soon get worse. He said there is a new series of import fees that are about to go in to affect. When those "taxes" are imposed, you will see the cost of lower volume tires go up dramatically, or go away all together.

Re: New wheels by centerline
I generally like Centerline wheels, I've had them on a lot of my trucks, but I agree with everyone that the logo sucks. they could of just put it on the centercap like all their other wheels.

Re: New wheels by centerline
The name-plate on the spoke is FUGLY. I wouldn't run them if they were free.....

Re: New wheels by centerline
I'm at GoodGuys Charlotte and looked at these today....
http://www.rocketracingwheels.com/pr...ster-gray.html I've seen them online and have to say they really look good in person. BTW Ken, were your ears burning today? I was talking to Tony today at the RideTech booth. Of course we were bashing your 77. LOL.

Re: New wheels by centerline
I can't say that I like them either. The name on the spoke really takes away from the look. I agree with S10fan on the rocket wheels. They look really good in person.
