replacement box sides

Has anyone ever seen replacement fleetside box sides available for a 55-57 chevy truck? I need to buy a box anyways and thought I'd look into it but can only find stepside boxes.I have nothing now as my truck was a 1 ton with a flatdeck.

Re: replacement box sides

No fleet side untill 58. They made a cameo, whitch had fiberglass sides on the stepside inters and different tailgage. And there are places that make them after market.

Re: replacement box sides

Any idea which companies make them? I am in Brandon Manitoba Canada.
Would a 58 fleetside box look ok on a 57 in your opinion? I am not going for originality..just a nice looking street truck.

Re: replacement box sides

I have seen many stepsides with the late model 89 to 90 something beds and they look to me like they came that way.

Re: replacement box sides

Scott's Super Trucks in Penhold is a Mar-K dealer in Canada and that is where I bought my reproduction stepside box for my 59.

Nice stuff.

Check out http://www.mar-k.com/ or pm MARK-Tech who is a board vendor from Mar-k.

I do not think the fleetside bed sides are reproduced.
